Security specialist Adam Quirk has always placed a premium on education, which is why he reads everything he possibly can on reading and learning everything he can about new technologies and methods that will make doing his job easier and more effective. He always wants to get better at his work and he became who he is based in part on his significant academic education in the first place. He worked hard to earn a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which he received in 2001 and in 2007, he was awarded a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Boston University.
Adam Quirk is so keen on constantly learning that he recently returned to the classroom once again, at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. His goal this time is to do whatever is necessary to earn a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). All of this, of course, is in addition to the informal learning he does outside the classroom. Whenever he can, Adam reads and absorbs as much about the state of law enforcement and security, including journals, case studies, books, magazine articles, and virtually everything else he can find to make him better at keeping people safer and more secure.
